I came to photography by accident, initially just wanting to capture the moments and images of the places I went to. Gradually the passion for photography came to me — photography became the main purpose of every trip, becoming my strongest passion.
- Best moment: “The most exciting moment was when I first wentonsafari in Tanzania, approaching the lions from a few meters away to take pictures, almost hearing the breathing of the lion, but without any fright.
- Worst moment: When I lost my camera set on the day of arrival in Iceland. Iceland is a photographicparadise, with an array of landscapes photographers look forward to. The trip was carefully planned and detailed but all planswere broken up, I felt like the earth collapsed. Fortunately, I still had a drone left in the car, allowing me to get shots from the drone with strange views.

Cape Town – For a long week in Cape Town, the famous Table Mountain was closed as the wind was too strong. Luckily, I could visit the site on the last day of my trip, to catching its best moment: As the sun was setting into a sea of clouds, I caught sight of this young couple peacefully admiring the last rays of sun on this magnificent landscape.
Iceland – The loss of the camera helped me to get this emotional photo shoot with my drone. The country of Iceland is wild and deserted — going all day to meet only a few cars on the road.
Pakistan – Late autumn in Pakistan. It was cold and piercing to the skin. At 4:00 am I moved to the place where the sunrise was taken, my limbs were freezing as I set up the camera to catch the first rays of sun. After many shots, I got this picture.
Pakistan – This fairy-like beautiful girl smiling at me, her eyes a little surprised as if it was the first time she saw a stranger entering the village. This village is near to the border with India, where conflict often occurs.
Pakistan – Winter in the Pakistani mountains is extremely cold. The villagers collect food and their family belongings on a donkey and move with the herd to a lower & warmer place for the 3-4 months of winter. Most of them are shepherds, grazing in the valleys of the high mountains.
Indonesia – After a long trekking day at Acid IJEN — from 2:00 am we moved to Bromo. Although very tired, we decided to camp on the top of Kingkong Hill to hunt the Bromo dawn. Unexpectedly, we got this amazing spectacle; the galaxy sky was just over our heads. Although it was very cold and wet, we decided to stay awake and admire the stars until morning. One of life’s rare experiences.
Indonesia – A lot of tourists come here to admire the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, a protected area of three active volcanoes located in East Java, Indonesia.
Tanzania – I went through many steppes with a number of cattle raised naturally here. One day, I suddenly saw a boy rushing like a shot toward me; I took a tele-camera to shoot continuously. Arriving home when I looked at the photo, I found him running and crying, tears rolling down his cheeks. The picture is so touching, one of my most favorite shots. The Maasai boys’ solitude among these immense steppes face many dangers — maybe their tears in silence help them become powerful Maasai warriors.
