The glass-bottomed bridge is located at an altitude of 300 m out of the cliff, providing panoramic views to O Quy Ho pass and Hoang Lien Son mountains.
Rong May glass bridge went into operation on November 16. Located in the Heaven Gate area of O Quy Ho pass, about 20 km from Sapa town, the project consists of two main features: an outdoor lift and a glass bridge.
After buying tickets, visitors will go to the mountain and take the elevator to the glass bridge located 300m above the ground, which reaches 60m from the cliff and built with glass corridors for visitors to see the landscape, take pictures and experience thrills.
The project is at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level, can withstand the weight of 3000 people at the same time. However, to ensure safety, this agency only allows a maximum of 500 guests on the bridge at the same time. Tickets for using the elevator and the glass bridge are VND 400,000 per adult and VND 200,000 for children.
This is the second glass bridge in Vietnam, the first one in Strip Yem waterfall (Moc Chau) with an altitude of 22 m.
Rong May resort is invested by an enterprise in Lai Chau province with a total capital of VND 1,000 billion, including hotel, bungalow, glass bridge, swimming pool, thrilling amusement park… The elevators and glass bridges are in phase 1 of this project, expected to attract up to 50,000 visitors per year. This destination connects Sapa with Lai Chau landmarks such as Tac Tinh waterfall, Putaleng peak, Tien Son cave.
