This September, in celebration of the 67th Malaysian National Day, the Embassy of Malaysia in Vietnam and Hanoi Daewoo Hotel are delighted to present the Taste of Malaysia Food Festival, a remarkable event showcasing Malaysia’s rich cultural and culinary traditions.
Taste of Malaysia – A paradise of Malaysian cuisine
Taking place from September 12th – 16th, 2024 at Hanoi Daewoo Hotel, Taste of Malaysia invites the capital diners to a captivating journey to experience a world of vibrant flavors and the rich culture of Malaysia.
The festival will officially launch with a luncheon at Café Promenade on September 12th, honored by the presence of HE. Dato’ Tan Yang, Ambassador of Malaysia to Vietnam. Chef Azlan Juri, a distinguished Malaysian chef, will lead the culinary experience, featuring live cooking demonstrations of traditional Malaysian dishes. Guests will also enjoy a special performance by a Malaysian cultural troupe, offering an authentic glimpse into the nation’s music, dance, and traditions that provides a special glance at this country’s rich heritage.

Throughout the festival, Café Promenade will serve indulgent lunch and dinner buffets, curated by Chef Azlan and Hanoi Daewoo’s talented culinary team. Highlights of the menu include a delightful array of most-loved Malaysian dishes such as Nasi Lemak, Laksa Nyonya, Roti Canai, Daging Rendang Tok, and Rojak Mamak. The evening buffets will be accompanied by captivating performances of traditional Malaysian dance, enriching the dining experience.

Daily tickets are priced at VND 650,000net/ Adult & VND 325,000net/ Child for the lunch buffet and VND 800,000net/ Adult & VND 400,000net/ Child for the dinner buffet.
