Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day, but brunch is the most important – and most anticipated – meal of the week. Guests at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi can now look forward to a decadent weekend brunch at the newly revamped angelina restaurant, complete with a live DJ and bottomless mimosas.
The Metropole’s new angelina restaurant, lounge and bar is turning the tide on Hanoi’s entertainment and culinary scene, having opened its doors on Sep. 15, following a top-to-toe renovation. Served every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am to 3pm, angelina’s bottomless brunch promises to deliver the same unadulterated fun sought on a special night out, but during daytime hours.
angelina’s Chef de Cuisine Aurelien Houguet, who earned his chef stripes at a number of distinguished establishments including the five-star Ashford Castle in Ireland, has concocted a brand new àla carte menu featuring a range of sumptuous brunch classics such as French toast, blueberry pancakes, and chicken and waffles as well as reinvented dishes, including eggs benedict served with Alaska crab meat, Caesar salad with lobster, and scrambled eggs with Wagyu beef.
For the first time in Hanoi, guests can choose from a variety of à la carte dishes including free-flowing drinks for VND1,900,000++.
“Brunch means something different for everyone – but for us, it’s a moment to savour, an occasion for eggs, Bloody Marys, cappuccinos and lingering conversations,” said Chef Houguet who relocated to Vietnam in June. “angelina’s weekend brunch is all about celebrating great food and great company. Cheers to the weekend!
