Stand-out performance at SEA Games 31 helped Nguyen Anh Minh rise 951 places to 1330th on the WAGR, which is very close to entering the Top 1000 best amateur golfers in the world.
Nguyen Anh Minh definitely is the name that brings the most regrets to Vietnamese golf fans at the last 31st SEA Games. Showing an impressive performance throughout 3 days of individual competition, the 15-year-old golfer was at the point very close to winning a medal.
Unfortunately, a bit of bad luck caused Nguyen Anh Minh to score a double-bogey in the last hole to finish with a T-6. However, this position is still the best achievement in the history of the Vietnamese golf team at the SEA Games. Anh Minh is the defending champion of two professional tournaments, the Lexus Challenge and the National Golf Championship.
Although Anh Minh could not get the historic medal for Vietnam golf, his bravery at the 31st SEA Games is enough to help him to have a great promotion on the WAGR. Specifically, with the T-6, Anh Minh gained 5,9922 points and increased 951 places on WAGR to rank 1330 – this position helps Anh Minh continue to be the No.1 amateur golfer in Vietnam.

Le Khanh Hung – the runner-up of the Lexus Challenge 2022, increased 433 places to reach 3672th, Nguyen Dang Minh is now at the 3642th position (increased 292 places)
