Windsor Plaza Hotel is offering the best street food Thailand has to offer from 3 – 31 July at its Café Central An Dong’s dinner buffet. Diners will be treated to traditional delicacy from the land of smiles, and a lucky draw with nightly prizes.
Experience a collection of flavourful Thai favourites including tangy salads, savoury spicy soups and aromatic coconut curries featuring fresh seafood and crisp vegetables. And do not forget to stop by the grill station for a selection of marinated meats seared to perfection.
This incredible gastronomic journey will be available Monday to Friday for 798,000++ per person including free flow German draught beer, juices and soft drinks, and on Saturday and Sunday for 898,00++ including free flow of sparkling wine, German draught beer, juices and soft drinks.
There will be three different buffet menus presented on a rotating basis. Some of the classic street food dishes available in the buffet include Goong Tord Krob (crispy small shrimp cake), Pad Thai (Thai-style fried noodle with shrimps), Pla Muk Yang (Thai-style grilled squid skewer with spicy sauce), Pad krapow Goong (Stir-fried shrimps with chili and holy basil), and dessert such as Kanom Krok (Thai coconut pudding) and Khao Niao Mamuang (Mango sticky rice).
Preparing this feast will be Thai chef Somdej Kitbumroong, Executive Chef of Windsor Plaza Hotel. Chef Kitbumroong began his culinary career in 1979 in Bangkok, going on to work in several five-star hotels in the city. Most recently he was the Executive Chef at The Emerald Cove Koh Chang and Century Park Hotel, Bangkok.
