From mid-November, the cheerful atmosphere has been up in the air across all Ascott’s Vietnam hotels and serviced residence lobbies. Themed “Have yourself a sweet Christmas”, the series of festive activities call for donations to charity programs.
The Ascott Limited (Ascott), a wholly owned subsidiary of CapitaLand Investment Limited, has ushered in the start of the most joyful season by lighting up the Christmas Tree on Friday, 25 November 2022. As an annual activity, Ascott wishes to bring the blessing time to Sa Lung Primary School in Thai Nguyen Province and Go Vap Orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City.
It was an evening of spreading joy and smiles as the light of hope glowed brightly and the bells started jingling.
Ms. Lew Yen Ping, Ascott’s Regional General Manager of Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar, said: “Ascott has always embraced community values and believes they are the premise for sustainable development. Along with the Ascott Cares commitment, we always want to contribute a positive impact to the community regarding the economy, society and environment and the Tree Lighting Ceremony is the best way to usher in holiday festivities for a good cause. Ascott is ready to bring a Merry Christmas to you all.”
In addition, Ascott has come up with fundraising activities for employees and tenants, including car and bike wash activities, Green Bazaar Campaigns and Charity Stalls with Festive Season’s merchandise gifts for sales. As part of a series of giving back to community activities over the years, Ascott wishes to bring underprivileged children the most miraculous season and a joyful New Year, as well as join hands to build the community’s sustainable development.
