In the late autumn – early winter days, Long Coc tea hill in Tan Son looks like a fairy movie scene hidden in the mist.
Long Coc tea hill is located in Tan Son district, Phu Tho province, about 125 km from Hanoi, and about 70 km from the center of Viet Tri city. The “oasis of tea” makes Long Coc dubbed “Ha Long Bay of the midland”.
Long Coc is considered as one of the most beautiful tea hills in Vietnam, with lots of potential for tourism development. This place attracts a lot of tourists and photographers.
Dawn is the best time to take pictures of the tea hill, at which time the dew is above the ground and remains on leaves, creating a dream-like scenery.
Each tea hill is about 1 hectare wide, spreading to the horizon.
Standing on the top of the high hill, you will capture the green of tea leaves in the immense space.
Tea trees have been attached to the lives of people in Long Coc for many generations and identified as key crop with high economic efficiency.
The production of Long Coc tea brand accords with VietGAP standards, with safe types of tea from traditional to new high quality, such as Dinh Bat Tien or Shan Bat Tien tea.
When the weather changes from autumn to winter, Long Coc tea hills are heavily covered in fog.
“When winter comes, clouds rush back and mingle with mist, covering all paths and the tea valley. I am really impressed by this scene ”, said photographer Pham Hoang Cuong (Hanoi).
The tea hills wear new “white coat” on freezing winter days.
In Phu Tho, visitors can explore Long Coc tea hill – Xuan Son National Park tour, choose homestay to experience cultural life of the native Muong people.
