We are pleased to announce that Hildegard Anzenberger has taken on the role of General Manager at Capella Hanoi, effective November 2024. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Hildegard brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to enhancing the guest experience.
A native of Munich, Germany, Hildegard began her hospitality career in 2000. Since then, she has held various leadership positions across multiple continents, including Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Most recently, she served as General Manager at The Langham Hefei in China, where she successfully improved hotel operations and strengthened relationships with stakeholders.
Prior to that, as Hotel Manager at The Langham Shenzhen, Hildegard oversaw significant renovations and implemented health and safety protocols during the pandemic, leading to improved guest satisfaction. Her experience as Director of Food and Beverage at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Pudong in Shanghai further showcased her ability to uphold high standards of service. Additionally, at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, she managed large-scale events and banqueting operations.
Fluent in German and English, Hildegard also has conversational skills in Italian, Spanish, Thai, and Mandarin, which will support her interactions in the diverse cultural landscape of Hanoi.
At Capella Hanoi, Hildegard is focused on maintaining the hotel’s esteemed reputation while ensuring that each guest enjoys a personalised and refined experience.
