In the first phase, Quang Binh province has withdrawn and leased nearly 11 hectares of land to Truong Thinh Group to implement a golf course project in Dong Hoi City.
The People’s Committee of Quang Binh province has just issued a decision on the acquisition and change of land use purpose and leased land to Truong Thinh Group JSC (phase 1) to implement the Bao Ninh Truong Thinh Golf Course in Bao Ninh, Dong Hoi.
Specifically, the People’s Committee of this province decided to recover 108,436.2m2 of land in Bao Ninh commune (including 83,795.4m2 of production forest land; 23,074.8 m2 of traffic land, 694m2 of irrigation land…) managed by Bao Ninh Commune People’s Committee. At the same time, change the use purpose of 83,975.4 m2 of production forest land from the above recovered land area to non-agricultural land (land for construction of sports facilities) according to the approved master plan and land use plan.
Accordingly, Truong Thinh Group is entitled to lease 109,339.6m2 of land (including 108,436.2m2 of the aforementioned recovered land and 903.4 m2 of unused flat land managed by the locality) for the purpose of implementing Bao Ninh Truong Thinh golf course project. The land use term is until April 23, 2071 (corresponding to the project’s 50-year term). The form of land lease for investors is the land lease by the State with annual payment.
Previously, in July 2020, the Prime Minister approved the investment policy of Bao Ninh Truong Thinh Golf Course in Bao Ninh, Dong Hoi.
The course is built on an area of 165.74 hectares with a total investment of 800 billion VND, and designed according to the international standard 36 hole golf course; together with the management center, ancillary service works, technical infrastructure works. The investor is Truong Thinh Group Joint Stock Company.
The project duration is 50 years. Regarding the implementation schedule, the project is started 12 months after the decision on investment policy, completed and put into use up to 24 months from the date of commencement.
Bao Ninh Truong Thinh golf course is designed by Greg Norman – a former No.1 golfer in the world, Chairman of Great White Shark Corporation (USA).
