On June 07, Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel introduces ‘Straight Outta Seoul’ featuring unique culinary delights encompassing authentic tastes brought by a collaboration between Saigon Café, the leading buffet restaurant in town and Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort.
From 07 to 16 June, gastronomes can immerse themselves in a dining experience captivating live buffet counters, highlighted by a flavorful exploration of authentic Korean cuisine, starring chef Daewon Kim, hailing from South Korea and currently based in Phu Quoc island as Korean Chef de Cuisine at Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort.
Discover the best of Seoul through traditional Korean tastes, from savory broths, barbeque, fried chicken, bibimbap, kimbap, adorned with traditional banchan side dishes including kimchi, Korea’s national dish. Led by Chef Kim who shows his heart and soul into his generation-old recipes, ‘Straight Outta Seoul’ boasts an extended live Korean food festival station for dinners.
Opt for bibimbap with a kaleidoscope of seasoned pickled vegetables, marinated beef and the signature fried egg that really seals the deal. Mix it all up into one big delicious bowl and dig in! Satisfying everyone with the interesting combination of textures and flavors, kimbap, the seaweed rice roll filled with a variety of delicious fillings is the Korean food to-go. Feeling hot? Try Naengmyeon, Korean cold noodles which is perfect for the summer in Saigon.
Stroll through our hot selections and imagine yourself walking through the bustling streets of Seoul, with the enticing aroma of tteokbokki smothered in a rich sauce wafting through the air and making your mouth salivate. Pick a few slices of marinated meats cooked on a charcoal grill and then wrapped with rice and lettuce to be eaten. Our Seoul-style bulgogi made exclusively with tenderloin resulting in a mouth-watering tenderness.
