These insights highlight not only where travelers are coming from but also which destinations within Vietnam are attracting the highest volume of inbound visitors during the first six months of 2025.
According to the General Statistics Office (GSO) of Vietnam, South Korea and China are the top source markets in the first half, accounting for approximately 46% of inbound volume. Supporting this, Agoda data also reveals that South Korea and China maintains top 2 spots on their inbound traveller list, reflecting a strong and consistent interest from Korean and Chinese travelers. Notably, China has made a significant leap, climbing from 4th place in 2024 to 2nd in 2025, signaling a robust recovery and growing appeal among Chinese tourists. Meanwhile, Thailand has entered the top 5 for the first time in 2025.
