‘Quán Ra Khơi’
The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about food in Phu Quoc must be seafood. ‘Ra Khơi’ restaurant is one of the most popular seafood restaurants here, offering an impressive menu with dozens of delicious and varied dishes at a very reasonable price. Aside from all seafood options, you should try ‘gỏi cá trích’ (herring salad) and ‘tiết canh cua’ (crab soup) if you’re not afraid of raw food.

‘Quán Kiến Xây’
The restaurant serves only one signature dish which is ‘bún quậy’. It is a big bowl of buns with a lot of fish, shrimp meat and pepper, green onions. The soup has the sweetness of seafood and the buns are made right in the kitchen. The dish comes with a sauce that is entirely formulated by guested themselves in the sauce making area.

‘Quán Cô Phụng’
This is the most popular place in Phu Quoc selling a local specialty called ‘bánh canh chả cá’. You will be served a big bowl of ‘banh canh’ with lots of meats, grilled chopped fish, fresh mackerel and sweet broth. Add a little bit of Phu Quoc’s signature fish sauce and you have a perfect and delicious bowl of ‘bánh canh chả cá’.

‘Quán Út Lượm’
‘Bún kèn’ is another signature bowl of buns in Phu Quoc. Though ‘Út Lượm’ is just a street food stall but the quality is amazing. A lot of foreigners have come here just to try the food. ‘Bún kèn’ is a combination of fresh buns, papaya salad, sprout, a little coconut milk, and sweet and sour fish sauce. However, what really makes the bowl special and delicious is the tasty broth which is cooked from the island fish like ‘cá nhàu’, ‘cá ngân’ and has puree fish.
