The large lake in the dry season revealing yellow grasslands is where people herd cattle and catch fish.
Visiting Nui Mot Lake in the dry season, visitors can see the whole prairie region appearing in the middle of the lake. This destination is beautiful year-round, but the most suitable time is spring and autumn.
Nui Mot Lake is 12 km2 wide, located in An Truong hamlet, Nhon Tan commune, An Nhon town, Binh Dinh province, which provides irrigation water for thousands of hectares of arable land of surrounding people.
The yellow meadows in autumn is the most attractive feature of the lake, especially in contrast to the greenness of the far An Truong mountain range.
Nui Mot Lake is still not known by many tourists, usually only people in the region come to herd cattle and catch fish. Visitors are mostly locals and backpackers.
“Having come here a few times but I still have different feelings. I am immersed in nature, inhale the sweet fragrance of grass, all sorrow drifts along the wind”, said photographer Nguyen Tien Trinh (Quy Nhon City), the author of the photos.
