Surely for every one of us, there is a place to return to, our Hometown. For those who had spent their childhood in the countryside of Vietnam, the images of bamboo trees at the village entrance, banyan trees by the pond, children playing flute on the buffalo, herding flock… are the sweetest reminiscences that will never fade.
I was born and grew up in a rural area of Vietnam, before life drove me away for school and work. Nowadays, when time has put a new appearance on my village, there is always a part of me wanting to relive the recollections of childhood, to once again find happiness and joy within its simplicity. Therefore, I came to photography, wandering the countryside and hoping to capture my lost memories.
