The central Vietnam resort was honoured at the magazine’s prestigious annual Luxury Awards
Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion, nestled in the lush foothills of the Truong Son mountain range in central Vietnam, was named one of Vietnam’s best upcountry hotels by the industry-leading international travel magazine Travel + Leisure.
The wellness-inspired luxury resort, centred on the Alba natural hot spring, was also recognised for having one of Vietnam’s best hotel spas. Taken together, the two honours place Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion among the top luxury properties in the Southeast Asian country.

The Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2024 were announced at a ceremony in Bangkok on June 13 and spotlighted the best in the region’s hospitality, from top city, beach, island and upcountry hotels to the best hotel pools, spas and general managers.
The latest recognition follows Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion’s top honours in last year’s Luxury Lifestyle Magazine Readers’ Travel Awards, based in the U.K., in which Alba was voted the world’s No. 1 hotel for nature lovers, sustainability and families. In the same poll, Alba took the No. 2 spot internationally for spa and wellness hotel.
Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion was built around hot springs on the outskirts of the Imperial City of Hue. It commands some 50 hectares of beautiful natural grounds and features a Japanese-style onsen with indoor and outdoor mineral-laden pools, along with rivers of healing thermal waters that wind their way through the property.
The hotel also offers a diverse daily menu of wellness activities, including Tai Chi, yoga, water meditation and walking meditation, as well as hosting wellness experts for retreats and workshops.
The spa’s signature spa treatment includes a four-hands natural living eucalyptus massage (50 minutes), followed by four-hands deep tissue regenerative therapy (50 minutes) and concludes with a four-hands Alba Wellness Valley Ayurveda Therapy (50 minutes).
