Located amidst the wetlands of ancient Dong Thap Muoi region, Tram Chim National Park is known as a miniature of Dong Thap Muoi with pristine ecological landscape.
Tram Chim is the fourth Ramsar area (wetland biosphere reserve) of Vietnam and the 2000th of the world, with an area of more than 7,000 hectares and nearly 150 species of resident birds.
Every year, when the water comes back, Tram Chim National Park wears a new colorful shirt. Instead of starting your journey at dawn as the majority, you can go in the afternoon to enjoy the wonderful scenery. In addition, the flooding season is also the time when the lotus fields in Dong Thap bloom, so take a boat to the middle of the field to be able to fully enjoy the beauty of the scenery.
Here, you will be wandering between the poetic scenery including the river, the vast green melaleuca forest with flocks of storks flying back, pure white lotus, together with many rice fields… All will bring visitors a real peaceful moment to be immersed in nature.
