Following the success of Season 1, the 2025 Pan Pacific Hanoi Art Award has officially been launched with the painting competition “What A Wonderful World”. The competition aims to honor young Vietnamese artists and artists with disabilities, showcasing their artistic talent through creative and sustainable methods. The award encourages young talents to express their passion and make strides in their career development.
Through a partnership with Vietnam University of Fine Arts, Pan Pacific Hanoi Hotel has established an art award to celebrate the artistic achievements of young Vietnamese artists, including those with disabilities. The award not only recognizes their talent but also encourages the exploration of innovative and sustainable artistic practices, while fostering a stronger connection between artists and the community.
Recently, at the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, the organizing committee of the 2025 Pan Pacific Hanoi Art Award officially launched the painting competition “What A Wonderful World”. The challenge for this year is to create innovative artworks that meaningfully engages with issues of Nature, Environment, Society, Global Innovations or Community-building.
The competition seeks to act as a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and significant impacts to address above issues, and to inspire the public to proactively make a change in their daily life in response to the global challenges.
The competition is divided into two categories:
– Category 1: Vietnamese young artists who have completed an art education from public or private art institutions/ universities, are pursuing their art career based in Hanoi, aged 18 to 30.
– Category 2: Artists with special needs, aged 12 to 35.
Pan Pacific Hanoi Art Award 2025 has assembled a judging panel composed of deans and vice deans from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, the University of Industrial Fine Arts, Hanoi College of Arts, as well as an art council from Singapore.
As per the regulations, each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of two artworks. Shortlisted entries will be contacted by the organizing committee for instructions on sending their artworks to the designated location. Subsequently, the art council will directly view the exhibited artworks to determine the awards.
- Submission deadline: 31 December 2024.
- Winners will be notified via telephone, and/or e-mail provided on the submission by 10 February 2025.
- For each group of contestants, the Organizing Committee will award 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, 2 Highly Commended Prizes, and 2 Certificates of Participation, along with valuable gifts.
